Gera Developments celebrate Safety Week on 5th of march 2011.

9-03-2011 Gera Developments have always taken their Corporate Social Responsibility seriously. They have ensured safety and sanitation at all their construction sites and have always taken keen interest in the education and overall growth of the children of their labor force. All the sites are provided with schooling and crèche facilities to discourage child labor. The laborers are also provided with living quarters. Programs spreading awareness about AIDS, malaria, construction site safety are conducted at regular intervals.

The labor families are also given advice on financial affairs like saving and investments, family planning etc. Measures are also taken to make sure that all laborers are insured before they start work.

In keeping with this CSR, Gera Developments celebrated Safety Week – 2011.

On the eve of Safety Week, 5th f March 2011, a safety awareness cum recreation program was conducted at the ECK (South) site from 07.00PM to 10.30PM. Approximately 370 individuals including Site staff and construction workers from both the sites (GGV-II and ECK South) were present for the function. A short speech on health and safety was given. This was followed by some entertainment which included a film on safety, a Hindi movie, tea and snacks.
The program turned out to be a grand success, and proved to be another feather in Gera Developments’ cap.
