Insurance Navy Partners With Mile Auto For Per-Mile Insurance Services

Palos Hills, Illinois- February 21, 2018- Insurance Navy, the fastest-growing insurance agency in Illinois, is expanding its insurance services by partnering with Mile Auto. Through this partnership, Insurance Navy will offer per-mile insurance coverage.

This type of service is a great option for people who commute to work using rideshare services or public transportation, work from home, college students, and retirees. Mile Auto will not insure people who drive more than 11,500 miles a year.

Rami Sneineh, Vice President of Insurance Navy, is delighted to be able to offer more insurance options for drivers who do not travel long distances.

“This is where insurance is headed,” said Sneineh. “This is a great option for people that own cars but use rideshare services like Uber and Uber Eats or public transportation to get to and from work.”

With per-mile insurance coverage, drivers pay a base rate, which is a set amount every month regardless of how much they drive; and a per-mile rate. The base rate varies by people’s driving history, their car and their credit score. The few miles a person drives, the smaller their insurance bill becomes. Mile Auto also offers high coverage limits, rental reimbursement, roadside assistance, uninsured motorist and custom equipment coverage.

A big privacy concern with per-mile insurance are the devices that are used to calculate mileage. Unlike its competitors, Mile Auto does not track people’s driving using a smartphone app or devices that plug directly into the insured car. Instead, policyholders will receive a text asking for their odometer reading. They can respond with a picture of their odometer and Mile Auto calculates the distance and bill accordingly.

This new partnership is part of Insurance Navy’s innovative approach to insurance that has kept the company ahead of its competitors.
