Enosoft Unveils Feature-Rich, Affordable Video Processor

March 5, 2007 (Hillsborough, NC) — Enosoft announced today the availability of the Enosoft DV Processor – powerful, versatile and affordable software that will save videographers and DV film-makers time and money throughout the many stages of their video production. It is primarily designed to perform real-time processing on DV streams, either from an attached DV device or from existing DV AVI files.

The key functions range from the relatively mundane - capturing DV and sending existing DV files back to a device - to real-time logo insertion, aspect ratio conversion, time-code burn-in and synchronous control/capture from devices connected to separate computers on a local network. It also includes real-time video and audio proc amps complete with vectorscope and waveform displays. These features permit adjustment of brightness, contrast, hue/phase, audio levels and more on the fly in real-time, including at the time that video is sent from the computer to external video equipment. This means that third-party NLE software can be used to create the edited video just once and multiple versions can be sent to tape. Producers of widescreen format videos can record the widescreen version and, then, without having to re-render the entire video, record a letterboxed version. Likewise, videos can be watermarked, time-code information (such as for making dailies) can be added or they can be channel-branded.
