Delphin EXPERT VIBRO measurement systems

Delphin EXPERT VIBRO measurement systems

The universal vibration measuring device Expert Vibro is easy to extend to measure process signals via an expansion bus to which any number of slave modules can be connected.

These are able to synchronously record and store further vibration signals as well as process signals such as temperatures, pressures, speeds, flow rates and fill-levels. New models with different channel numbers mean the overall system can be adapted even more flexibly to your needs. Expert Vibro is now available with 4, 8, 12 or 16 vibration inputs that can be linked to any number of process signals. You can then precisely accomplish your measurement tasks with no channel overheads. A connection to process control systems or the cloud is also made simple via a range of interfaces such as PROFIBUS, Modbus, CAN or OPC UA.

Vibration measurement is a core part of your needs. Expert Vibro also impresses in this area with its state-of-the-art processor technology and compact design enabling up to 16 synchronous measuring channels with sampling rates of up to 50 kHz per channel. 24 bit A/D converters guarantee extremely high precision.

Depending on the application, switching is possible between measuring voltages, currents, IEPE or shaft vibration sensors. An internal data memory of up to 14 GB enables fully independent operation with monitoring functions. Data export for long-term archiving on external drives is also no problem. Expert Vibro configures and executes all signal analysis functions online within the hardware. This includes individually parameterizable filters, differentiators, integrators and FFT calculation.

What about evaluation and analysis? As the combined vibration and process signals are acquired, parallel analysis is also needed. This involves simultaneously displaying special vibration-analysis diagrams as well as standard process-signal diagrams (e.g. y(t)). The measurement software ProfiSignal in combination with the "Vibro" option is ideally suited for this purpose. Provides standard diagram types such as y(t), y(x) or logic for visualising process and raw signals and characteristic values.

The “Vibro” option also includes specialist diagrams for vibration analysis. To monitor machines with sliding contact bearing shafts, you can, for example, use the orbit diagram to visualise kinetic wave paths including smax deflection and angular position/phase. A shaft centre-line diagram also enables visualisation of the shaft centre point's displacement as a function of speed during system start-up and shutdown. An intuitive y(t) diagram then enables simultaneous observation and correlation of process parameters, e.g. actual winding temperatures.

Many special types of diagrams are also available for other vibration measurement tasks, e.g. polar diagrams, Bode plots, cascade spectra or spectrograms.
Advanced vibration measurement technology: Expert Vibro is the ideal system for meeting the increasing need for the synchronous acquisition of vibration and process signals. Evaluation is then carried out using the ProfiSignal measurement technology software and its Vibro option. This simultaneously displays and analyses the measured vibration data and process signals.
