Phono Solar finish investment and construction of 1MW Solar Plant in Italy

Phono Solar Technology Co., Ltd., the world’s leading manufacturer of crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) modules, today announced it will complete a 1MW solar power plant in Marche, Italy. As the investor, PhonoSolar also holds the majority share of the project and it is the first self-invested solar power plant. Phono Solar is also supplying high quality solar modules and providing EPC solution service of this plant.

The Servigliano solar plant, located approximately 1 hour south of Fermo province, which is targeted to be completed by the end of February, will be powered by more than 5,230 Phono Solar panels and is projected to generate approximately 27 million kWhs of electricity over the 20-year subsidized period to display almost 26,000 tons of carbon emissions. The grid connection will be done in mid May at Preventivo ENEL and STMD.

The project will be the first to be initiated through Phono Solar’s own investment. It presents a good beginning of developing downstream industry chain. Phono Solar will focus on developing utility-scale and commercial solar projects based on its strong financing background in future.
