Jolie Barnes Promoted to Claims Manager for TPA Alternative Service Concepts

Alternative Service Concepts (ASC), a national workers’ compensation and liability Third-Party Claims Administrator (TPA), announced the promotion of Ms. Jolie Barnes to claims manager. Ms. Barnes brings more than 20 years’ of insurance industry experience to her new title and has served as a dedicated senior liability claims adjuster since coming to work for ASC in July 2015. She will report to Regional Claims Manager, Ms. Pat Piper in our Irving, Texas office. Ms. Barnes will remain based in Houston, Texas working onsite with ASC’s dedicated client.

Prior to joining ASC, Ms. Barnes worked for Crawford & Company where she served as the dedicated claim adjuster for the same Houston-based client from 2007 through mid-2015. Her background also includes nine (9) years as a casualty claims adjuster for GAB Robins, Progressive Insurance, and Auto Club in Houston, Texas.

As claim manager, Ms. Barnes will train client managers, prepare status reports for discussion at client management meetings, and continue to work closely with the dedicated client, customers, insurance carrier and their legal team to assure the best outcomes possible. “Jolie is a respected professional by her peers, and she brings extreme value to the entire team,” said Ms. Pat Piper, Regional Claim Manager. “Her extensive knowledge of our dedicated client enables her to prepare a strategic avenue for claim resolution.”
