Press release from: EMRapproved

February 21, 2011 (Chicago, IL) - Gearing up for the official launch of its new online EMR research database and expanded online technology store, EMRapproved.com will be attending the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Orlando, Florida, from Feb. 20-24. Attendees who visit EMRapproved booth #363 and participate in its new site demo, will receive a free Seal Shield Antimicrobial Flex Keyboard and the opportunity to win a new ViewSonic Android Tab, compact enough to fit in a lab coat pocket.

"We are excited about the groundbreaking new research tools that we have to offer on EMRapproved.com. Our expanded EHR content and compatible technology store site provide an invaluable resource that attendees will certainly find worthwhile," says EMRapproved CIO Wendy Whitmore.

Vendors and consultants at the conference will have the opportunity to sign up for the EMRapproved Points Plus Program. The program offers EMR software vendors and medical consultants the opportunity to earn rewards points in exchange for purchasing EMRapproved's technology packages for its clients. Packages can be customized, will meet all EMR specifications and are shipped directly with available installation, maintenance and support. Vendors and consultants can then collect and exchange Plus Points for free technology at the EMRapproved online store.

Conference participants will also be able to view demos of EMRapproved.com and its online store site. EMRapproved.com is a comprehensive resource, combining education, information, guidance, products and services relating to EMR/EHR and personal health record (PHR) technology. The built-in 3-Step Wizard also helps visitors navigate and target the expansive data to their specific inquiry needs.
In conjunction with next week's HIMMS events, anyone who registers on the EMRapproved online store site from February through March will be eligible for free EMR hardware giveaways, with no purchase necessary.

The HIMSS conference will host over 900 vendor and provider exhibitors in five exhibit halls. Approximately 300 industry leaders will present on topics related to HITECH and meaningful use, cloud computing, social security, mobile healthcare, the incorporation of social media into healthcare and more. Several important figures in EMR and American medicine will appear as keynote speakers - including US Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius; National Coordinator for Health Information Technology David Blumenthal, MD; and actor Michael J. Fox, famous for his battle with Parkinson's disease.
