Clearwell Systems Raises the Bar on Excellence in EDiscovery

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Feb. 15, 2011 — Clearwell Systems, Inc., a leader in intelligent e–discovery, has significantly expanded the educational breadth of Clearwell University to accommodate broader training for new releases of the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform®, growing customer demand, and support for Clearwell’s international growth into markets in Europe, China, Japan, India and South Africa. The enhanced training programs add greater depth to Clearwell University, which to date has graduated more than 800 Clearwell Certified Administrators (CCAs). With this training, Clearwell’s customers and partners are learning to maximize their use of the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform and therefore further reduce the costs and risks of the e-discovery process.

In 2010, Clearwell University saw a 218% rise in attendees and more than tripled the number of classes offered. At the helm of Clearwell University is newly hired director of training services, Peter McLaughlin.

Clearwell University’s new offerings include courses to support Clearwell’s new collection module and review management capabilities. In addition, Clearwell is launching the Training Passport, which offers convenient, online Continuing Clearwell Education and bridge classes for CCAs, and a Masters Class that provides advanced training and certification to handle more complex datasets and demanding projects.

“Being new to the field of legal e-discovery I was quite pleased by the amount of content covered in Clearwell University and the quality of the instructors,” said an employee from GlaxoSmithKline. “The course was delivered in a non-intimidating manner which provided a rich environment for learning Clearwell’s offerings.”

Clearwell University training combines demonstrations, hands-on labs and practical testing to rapidly and effectively educate partners, law firms, enterprises and governmental agencies on advanced use of the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform. Upon completion of courses, attendees are armed with methods and best practices to facilitate repeatable and defensible management of the end-to-end e-discovery process.

Benefits of attending Clearwell University include:

Case Management Knowledge: Case administrators graduate with the knowledge required to quickly and efficiently create new cases and manage existing cases.

Workflow Management: Clearwell University training guides administrators in rapidly setting up a case, processing data, creating tags, adding users, and establishing a viable review workflow.
Review Mastery: Valuable courses educate reviewers on effective strategies specifically for streamlining the review process, including search techniques, tagging options and workflow management.

Industry Excellence: Attendees benefit from the ability to achieve certification as a Clearwell Certified Administrator (CCA), as well as additional opportunities for advanced education and networking with the CCA community.

Clearwell University is conducting training sessions for customers and partners worldwide in countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, China, Japan, India and South Africa.
