Scotland’s Leading Managed IT Service Provider m3 Networks Sponsoring the Chamber Event on Cyber Security
m3 Networks, Scotland’s premier IT and managed cyber security solution provider is sponsoring Cyber Security Business Breakfast, a Chamber Event organised by Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce on 12th March 2019.The Chamber Event will be held at Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort, Dundee. It is organised to update attendees on how cyber security impacts businesses and what steps can be taken to avoid getting caught out. This cyber security Chamber Event is for business owners, executives, IT leaders and anyone who would like to understand cyber threats and how to deal with these threats.
Per the Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2018 almost 45% of enterprises have identified breaches in the last 12 months. But only around 65% of enterprises spend money on cyber security. m3 Networks is sponsoring this event to create cognisance about the importance of cyber security among enterprises as businesses every day are suffering due to lack of proper knowledge on cyber security. By sponsoring this event, m3 Networks aims to boost the engagement between business owners and cyber security experts.
The Cyber Security Business Breakfast Event will feature guest speakers like Professor Karen Renaud, from the Division of Cyber Security at Abertay University and Mikey Jack from The Scottish Business Resilience Centre. They will speak on different aspects of cyber security and how business can prepare themselves to prevent cyber attacks. Later attendees will have the chance to ask a panel of experts their questions. The panel members will include Professor Karen Renaud, Abertay University; Mikey Jack, Scottish Business Resilience Centre; Mark Riddell, Managing Director, m3 Networks, among others.
The Chamber Event will be held at Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort, Kingennie, Broughty Ferry, Dundee, DD5 3RD on Tuesday 12th March 2019 from 7.30am – 10.30am.
