Software vendors and system integrators can now easily provide mobile access to their solutions
The mobile enterprise specialist enprovia® now provides a promising solution to help vendors and integrators easily bring their ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and ECM (Enterprise Content Management) solutions to their customers’ mobile devices. The ability to access processes and content while mobile promises increased “up-time” for corporate teams, resulting in enhanced productivity and improved decision-making. enprovia’s initial integration process to support vendor specific systems typically takes only a few days thanks to ready-made connectors, support for industrial standards and existing integration expertise.
enprovia® mobile enabler is a solution encapsulating the complexity of back-end systems, making it possible to access and control content and business processes from a regular Apple iPad or a smart phone such as the iPhone, RIM BlackBerry, Google Android and MS Windows Phone 7.
The solution (consisting of both middle-tier and mobile device applications) is tailored according to the needs of the vendor or system integrator, ensuring that corporate identity is consistent with the company’s offered portfolio.
The most common ECM solutions are supported through a set of ready-made connectors, and industry standards such as CMIS and WebDAV are supported, reducing integration time and complexity. Direct mobile client support for iPad, BlackBerry, Android, Phone 7 and other devices is provided, covering a majority of the popular mobile devices found in corporations today.
“Our customers are corporations interested in expanding their solution portfolio, increasing customer value without introducing integration headaches or running long-winded development to support multiple mobile devices. Our offering covers different organizations various business and license models, with both on-site and on-demand being covered,” says Bo Stahlbrandt, CEO of enprovia®.
“Our offering is straightforward, coming with a lower price-tag and shorter time-to-market than if the corporation should implement the mobile-enabling aspects of its solution from scratch”.
Software vendors and system integrators of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are invited to participate in enprovia’s mobile enabler program.
