Illegal ONLINE Betting crashed by the Law Enforcement Agency

Police (Anti Gambling Agency) in one of the South East Asia countries uses Wireless-Detective systems (WD), which designed and manufactured by Decision Group to break down the illegal online betting during the last World Cup. The agency has archived high success rate after they managed to break down these syndicate operation in few countries during the seasons of World Cup 2010. Hundreds of criminal who were involved in this illegal operation were arrested at various locations in South East Asia countries.
Many Wireless-Detective systems were deployed by the Police operation unit at multiple suspected hot spots during the world cup. With the deployment of this advanced network forensics tool, Police managed to intercept and record all the content of the actual transactions such as the Web Content, Email Exchange, Chat Exchange, Bank Account Information etc with our real-time reconstruction engine. Furthermore, the syndicates’ operation centers can also be identified and the all internet activities can be intercepted with the help of Internet Service Providers (ISP) in this region.
According to some related sources, the syndicate operation centers (houses) were equipped with close circuit cameras and a light sensor devices as some form of self-protection. However, the suspects were unaware of the presence of police unit and were caught red-handed when the raiding team broke into their living quarters.
Quote from the Police unit "We have been keeping a watch on these syndicates since the first day (of the World Cup). After collecting sufficient information about the illegal activities, we raided the house. The suspects were nabbed inside the premises where we found items and equipment used to operate their illegal betting business," said a source. "This is the first time we have apprehended the bookie suspects during the World Cup, which Internet was used as a media for the illegal transactions with the clients" the source said.
However, the betting amount collected from the suspects was undisclosed, but it is believed to be in the multiple millions of US Dollars. Both suspects were being investigated under the Gambling Act.
