Intelestream Announces Additional Features for intelecrm 3.5

02-14-2011 12:20 PM CET | IT, New Media & Software

Press release from: Intelestream

The latest features to be announced include an events planning module, a commission tracking solution, and a time tracking tool.

Chicago, IL - Intelestream, Inc., a leading provider of CRM consulting and CRM Software as a Service today announced the company has added additional features to the recently unveiled intelecrm version 3.5. The new features include commission tracking, time tracking, and an events management module. As a result of over two hundred CRM implementations every year, Intelestream has created these enhancements to address use cases that consistently required each feature. With a unique collaborative roadmap model, Intelestream allows customer demand to drive development for future functionality.

Events Planning Module

The intelecrm Events Planning Module bridges the gap between event planning and CRM. The tool is especially geared for non-profit organizations and companies that require collaboration and reporting on events. The module allows users to set up events such as trade shows, fundraising, webinars and conferences while tracking and reporting against metrics that include expected revenue, attendance, topics, and presenters. Integration with Google Calendar provides organizations with the ability to publicize and share event invitations.

Commission tracking

Most organizations track sales commissions outside of the CRM environment. This is not only time consuming, but also leaves room for errors. By tying this key sales function directly into intelecrm, commissions can be calculated based on complex or simple criteria. Examples include flat rates, percentage of total deal size, shared commissions, and bonus payouts.

“Anyone who works in sales knows that calculating commissions is a touchy subject that can lead to doubt and confusion. By calculating commissions directly in the CRM, there is more transparency, less room for errors, and greater trust that everyone is getting what they deserve,” states Ray Stoeckicht, VP of Sales and Professional Services for Intelestream. “Imagine a typical complex commission scenario with an opportunity where the lead qualification rep receives $50 per deal closed and the account executive and the sales engineer share a 10% commission of the overall deal size. Of that 10%, the account executive receives 80% and the sales engineer 20%. Just thinking about this can give anyone a headache. But intelecrm calculates all of this as it happens directly against the opportunity being processed in the CRM.”

Time tracking

Especially useful for service companies that bill by the hour, the inclusion of a time tracking module in intelecrm 3.5 allows billable invoices to be easily composed and tracked in the CRM. Users are able to track time against Accounts, Bugs, Contacts, Cases, Leads, Opportunities, Projects, Project Tasks, and Tasks. A “working on” quick data entry feature enables users to start, stop, or change current time tracking from any screen in the intelecrm system. It is also possible to distinguish between billable and non-billable hours and customize billing categories.

intelecrm Background

Developed by Intelestream in 2008, the intelecrm applications offers enterprise level CRM functionality to small and medium sized businesses. Pricing for the application follows a unique model that allows for unlimited users for a flat fee.

The platform is designed as an affordable, turn-key CRM solution that can be easily customized according to individual requirements. An internet connection and a web browser are all that is needed to use the application, so getting started is easy.

Recently, Intelestream has added a wide range of social CRM functionality to the application including a platform that enables sales, marketing, and customer support users to collaborate with one another while engaging with the outside world. Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn are among the many social media that connect with intelecrm.
