Remote Backup Systems RBackup v11.2.4
On its website, www.remote-backup.com, Remote Backup Systems notes that RBackup v11.2.4 is an important maintenance release that also contains new features.
The biggest enhancement is the new VSS-based (Volume Shadow Copy) Open files solution. This replaces the OFA (Open Files Agent) driver functionality in previous versions.
Other notable enhancements included in this release improve BitBackup (their sub-file level backup technology), the Remote Management module, and the Client Installer. Support for the Italian language has also been added.
Software updates and upgrades issued by Remote Backup Systems are available to registered RBS Service Providers with active support subscriptions and can be downloaded from www.remote-backup.com/download.htm.
To promote the new release, Remote Backup Systems is also offering six months of free support with paid support renewals and extensions through February 18th. Orders can be placed on the company’s website, www.remote-backup.com, or over the phone with a sales representative by calling (800) 519-7643.
