Dena DeNooyer Stroh Named Partner at Gruber Hurst Johansen Hail in Dallas

The Dallas law firm of Gruber Hurst Johansen Hail LLP is pleased to announce that Dena DeNooyer Stroh has been named a partner in the firm.

Ms. Stroh has obtained favorable outcomes for clients in civil trials heard in both state and federal courts. Her courtroom experience includes the defense of a home mortgage servicer in a lengthy jury trial over claims of wrongful foreclosure, a favorable judgment for an Internet service provider against a contempt motion and non-party discovery under the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, and obtaining a temporary restraining order for her client that became a permanent injunction after a bench trial.

Ms. Stroh participates in numerous professional and civic activities, and served as president of the 2,800 member Dallas Association of Young Lawyers in 2009. She was first elected to the DAYL Board of Directors in 2002, and has served as co-chair of various DAYL committees in addition to her continued service on the board. She also is a founding member of the Dallas Talented and Gifted Foundation, and member of the Site-Based Decision Making Team of the Dallas Independent School District's Talented and Gifted Magnet High School.

Featured for the past four years on the Texas Rising Stars list of the state’s top young attorneys, Ms. Stroh earned her law degree, with honors, from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Yale University. Ms. Stroh, who joined the firm in April of 2010 as senior counsel, previously worked as a partner in the Dallas firm of Carrington Coleman.
