The Open University Business School MBA Essay Competition

The Open University Business School, one of Europe's leading business schools and the major provider of MBA programmes delivered by supported distance learning, is pleased to announce its first MBA Essay Competition.

The competition is open to existing Open University students (of all disciplines), yet to embark on the MBA programme, as well as prospective students. Interested applicants must also make sure they meet the entry requirements for Stage One of The Open University Business MBA (module B716).

Applicants are required to write an essay in response to a question posed by the MBA academic panel within the Business School. The essay must be in English and no longer than 1,000 words. All essays received will then be assessed by the panel and the winner announced.

The prize for the successful applicant will be full sponsorship of Stage One of the MBA worth approximately 5,500 Euro.

The closing date for applications is March 4 2011. Applications received after this date will not be included in the assessment process.
