The new Joakim Borén Photography website has been launched this week. Born in Stockholm, Joakim decided to move to the UK in 2002 to study BA (Hons) Design Photography at Plymouth University. With his project ‘Monoliths’, Joakim was awarded winner in the Magenta Foundation ‘Emerging Photographer 2006’ awards.

The new website has been designed and developed in a creative collaboration with Bristol Based website designer Alex Des Forges, who explains;

“We wanted to create a seamless design that would complement the style of the showcased work without interfering with it.”
With the increasing importance of the World Wide Web this site has been designed to generate a distinctive online presence.

Specialising in location work Joakim has been freelance since 2005. With a variety of clients he divides his time between Plymouth and London and travels worldwide for commissions.
