Press release from: PhonoSolar

An active approach to the project for recycling photovoltaic modules put PhonoSolar products among the holders of the prestigious PC Cycle Certificate. By having this certificate the manufacturer of PhonoSolar solar panels expresses a behavior with utmost responsible in the field of solar energy.

The PV Cycle Association (est. in 2007) sets an objective for itself to provide a recycling program for used photovoltaic modules with expired life expectancy. It finds appropriate methods for handling products and materials used in the photovoltaic industry with the help of most modern technologies. The pivotal idea of the project is to be truly considerate in all the phases of the product’s life cycle, from obtaining key raw materials up to the responsible and rigorous recycling.

These days the PV Cycle Association is announcing the involvement of other prestigious corporations into their project for recycling photovoltaic modules. Among those are also the photovoltaic products PhonoSolar.

Rigorous recycling of products from the photovoltaic industry and the ensuing utilization of a greater volume of used materials leads the participating entities to a responsible attitude towards the environment. The PV Cycle project is thinking of the future and contributes to the environment in a number of ways. PV Cycle thus helps to lower the volume of produced waste and to minimize the amount of energy required to process the raw materials for the production of new photovoltaic cells. This then helps with the total lowering of costs for further production and to minimize the possible environmental impacts.

The fact that PhonoSolar products got involved in this prestigious project and received the certificate PV Cycleis an important milestone for PhonoSolar. This is again a shift bringing PhonoSolar closer towards social responsibility and long term improving of the environment.
