BlackBio captures 3 million Euros after additional capital increase and public funding
- Gets financial support of more than 3 million Euros that will allow the company to continue with the development of personalize medicine solutions and its international expansion.
BlackBio, a biotechnological company dedicated to personalized medicine, has completed its second capital increase along with public support achieving more than 3 million Euros, which will allow the company to continue with the development of new diagnostic solutions as well as its international expansion.
Among others, Inibsa Laboratories, the Turkish technology company NanoBiz Ltd. have participated in this second round of funding. In addition several partners have reaffirmed their commitment by expanding their presence in the company.
BlackBio strategy hinges on the introduction of the emerging field of personalized medicine sector of new products and services, based on disruptive technologies patented by the company, with a strong international focus looking for immediate expansion into international markets with higher growth potential.
This happens at the same time as the recent inauguration of 3B BlackBio Biotech India Ltd., the joint venture established between BlackBio and Kilpest, whose aim is to become a regional leader in the field of personalized medicine by providing innovative technologies and contributing to the development of India’s Healthcare and Pharma sectors.
BlackBio’s target is to lead the research and development of new tools in the field of personalized medicine, medical diagnostics and pharmacogenomics.
The company therefore uses and adapts a wide spectrum of technologies that include the most innovative sequencing platforms, protein arrays and other molecular analysis solutions in the areas of metabolic disorders , oncology, cardiovascular diseases, microbiology, pharmacogenetics and wellness.
