Over the New Year, it was all hands to the pump as Acumen moved lock, stock and Acutrac to a larger unit just up the road in the Hampshire town of Andover. Said Managing Director, David Martin: “After 7 years in Glenmore Business Park the cramped space was restricting our business, especially the development of our growing range of non-motorcycle products...”

It had taken 18 months of fruitless searching before a suitable unit could be found – in the end, so close that neither GPS or Acutrac is required to find it! Dave again: “When this unit came up we jumped at it. We now have enough space for R & D, production and to service our rapidly growing business in the car and caravan sectors. Our warehouse and despatch areas are bigger and more efficient so customers will benefit too. And, as we also own the unit next door, future planned expansion is assured...”

And, with demand for the Company's Acutrac tracker units and Diva portable alarms soaring, the new products are already starting to flow with the launch of a new, mid priced, Acutrac Locator Plus tracker due imminently and an upgraded Acumen battery charger in the summer....
