Monitis To Re-Launch The World’s First Free Server-Monitoring Cloudware

SAN JOSÉ, CA, JANUARY 19, 2011 – Monitis, the award-winning provider of the world’s first all-in-one monitoring cloudware, will launch fully redesigned its free monitoring service, Mon.itor.Us.

“We’re celebrating the New Year by juicing up our free services and offering more extensive monitoring at no cost to Mon.itor.Us users,” said Monitis Founder and CEO Hovhannes Avoyan. “We want to help busy IT administrators at smaller companies, as well as individuals, gain more time by taking advantage of the fastest, cheapest and easiest approach to server monitoring. In a planned phase-in of services to occur throughout the year, Monitis will add comprehensive server and network monitoring features to Mon.itor.Us to deliver all-in-one monitoring cloudware. The company will provide a complete range of monitoring tools for free – from remote real-user experience monitoring, to internal agent-based, agent-less and hybrid server monitoring – as a Cloud-based (aka hosted) service. The tools will be available even to firms whose data centers are protected by firewalls or located in public Clouds. A dashboard, based on leading-edge HTML5 technology, will provide real time charts and performance data views. Advanced sysadmins can enhance the monitoring through the API.

Free Mon.itor.Us service will essentially provide the same depth of monitoring and notifications as Monitis’s premium service, although adjusted for smaller, less critical applications and tasks.
