Eyescale releases Equalizer 1.0 alpha
Neuchatel, Switzerland - January 9, 2011 - Eyescale announces the release of Equalizer 1.0 alpha and Collage 0.1.Equalizer is the standard framework to create and deploy parallel, scalable OpenGL applications. Collage is a cross-platform C++ library for building heterogenous, distributed applications, used as the cluster backend for the Equalizer.
This release introduces the Collage library, support for GPU compression plugins and an administrative API for runtime configuration changes. Equalizer 1.0-alpha is a developer release, representing the full feature set and API of Equalizer 1.0.
Eyescale provides software consulting and development services for parallel 3D visualization software and GPU computing applications. Eyescale develops, supports and provides application development services for the Equalizer parallel rendering framework.
