Rotary Club of Smithtown-Sunrise Hosts Sixth Annual Snow Ball to Benefit Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck

(Center Moriches, NY) — The Rotary Club Of Smithtown-Sunrise will have its sixth annual Snow Ball on January 29 at 7 p.m. at Watermill Inn, 711 Smithtown Bypass, Smithtown. The event will help raise funds for Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck.

At the event, members of the Smithtown-Sunrise Rotary Club and the Rotary Clubs of District 7260 will be on hand to celebrate the accomplishments of Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. In addition, there will be food and drinks, a basket raffle, a 50/50 raffle and live music by The Dedications.

Tickets are $100 each, $1,200 for a table of 12. A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. Those who are unable to attend can make a financial contribution to Smithtown-Sunrise Rotary. Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck challenges children with special needs to reach beyond their physical and developmental challenges and experience all that life has to offer. Throughout the program, campers participate in typical summer camp activities, such as arts and crafts, talent shows, cook-outs, swimming and boating.

About Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck
Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck was created by members of the Moriches Rotary Club in 1946. Located on the shores of Kaler's Pond on eastern Long Island, Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is funded entirely by donations and is a special place where children with physical and developmental disabilities can experience first hand the pleasures that an active life has to offer. Children participate in a wide range of activities especially designed for youngsters who are in wheelchairs as well as those who are ambulatory. These activities include swimming, boating, arts and crafts, petting zoo, talent shows, cook-outs, games and a Carnival Day. The program also provides educational activities in areas such as nature, arts, fire safety and communication skills.
