Keldamuzik brings DIVA TV to Screens
Keldamuzik, female Hip Hop recording artist from California's Bay Area, will be her airing her reality series Diva TV throughout the entire Bay Area. The show touches on the realness of her life being in Hip Hop industry. While taping on a Mini-DV Cam, one camera guy catches crazy fast random shots of akward segments. While walking around the Bay Area, Keldamuzik likes to keep her show "grimey." "There is no real concept to my show, its just random, but that's what keeps it exciting, whether I'm in the booth, I'm at a party, or I'm networking. Shots are just captured and broadcasted on my show to keep my viewers tuned into what I'm doing. "The sexy rhyme master, who we like to call the Oprah of Hip Hop, describes her music as something tasteful and wanting. "By creating my show I want people to see how and where I get the ideas to create my lyrics and why I bring certain guests on my show to talk about music with." Although Diva TV is only syndicated in the Bay Area with over 40,000 viewers, Keldamuzik hopes to expand her viewers not only online but on Television worldwide.
GolddiggaEnt: Wassup Keldamuzik? So I hear U got your own show now huh?
Kmuzik: Yeah its a little sumthin sumthin I put together on my own u know?
GolddiggaEnt: A little sumthin?
Kmuzik: Nah, lol basically its a reality series. NOT on some Ashley simpson BS or anything like that, but more of a documentary on my life, my career. I like to keep it grimy and what I mean by that is, I got this dude that follows me everywhere and tapes me on a mini dv camcorder. So its like one minute i can be talking to someone on the street about my upcoming performance, the next minute i'm talking to this cat about buying my cd. Its crazy, but I thank my editor Lu for all the hard work she puts in editing the show.
GolddiggaEnt: That's tight, I don't think anyone has ever done this before, let alone a female rapper right?
Kmuzik: Well, i'm always trying to seperate myself from the next person always, even if I wasn't rapping or doing this show, I always try to find ways to make myself stand out.
GolddiggaEnt: So tell me, how did u come about producing this show? Where did u go? Where is it airing?
Kmuzik: Basically I got my little secret hook up from a friend :)...But yeah I thought about doing this show because I know that no one has ever done this before, and that hip hop always needs another outlet to express their freedom of speech. I mean I know my show is low budget and all, but the fact that this crazy femcee has the guts to put her life on TV like that I think thats huge guts.
GolddiggaEnt: I feel you. So what messages are you trying to send across your viewers?
Kmuzik: I want my audience to know that no matter what you do, as long you stay persistant towards your goal, you will succeed. I mean I been through so much in this industry. People from left to right tell me how I need to spit, dress, act, walk, run, ..I mean the list goes on..But I just continue to be me and that's what you have to do. The funny thing is, people say they always wanna get a deal or get signed to a major and that their willing to create and mold themselves into whatever the majors want them to be, that's BS nowadays, the majors want REAL, they want u to be your own label and mold yourself into what u want to be, and that is the most powerful thing you can do that's gong to make you rich and famous.
GolddiggaEnt: Interesting, I see you got your head on your shoulders tight girl, so what can we expect to see in the show?
Kmuzik: You will see me do live interviews, performances, kickin it with some patnas, my boy lingo, Hot 16's every other episode, interviews with other upcoming and coming or established artist, more stuff to come for sure.
GolddiggaEnt: Okay Keldamuzik well, any advice you'd like to give to starving young artist out there trying to make things happen?
Kmuzik: Yeah, man when I listened to Chamillionaire's album "The Sound of Revenge" that made me think less of my enemies and more of how many fans I will have. U gotta think positive and no matter how many haters you have or people trying to stop you from what your doing, remember that success is the key to revenge!
