MindTree Launches Contract Pricing Framework Using IBM WebSphere Commerce to Help Businesses Reduce eCommerce Development and Implementation Cycles

New framework solves B2B eCommerce challenges presented by multiple contracts, price lists and access control; will be demonstrated in the MindTree booth at the NRF Big Show

Bangalore, INDIA, January 10, 2011: MindTree Limited, a global IT Solutions Company, today announced at the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Big Show, the launch of its Contract Pricing Framework using IBM WebSphere Commerce. The new framework is designed to solve time-consuming business-to-business (B2B) eCommerce challenges presented by implementing and managing multiple contracts and price lists for a single customer.

Leveraging its WebSphere expertise and Center of Excellence (CoE), MindTree has developed a customizable Contract Pricing Framework (CPF) that allows a single customer contract to be associated to multiple contract templates spanning from manufacturing, procurement and logistics to finance and legal among other business functions. The CPF also enables flexible pricing for B2B customers using multiple price lists, global discounts, and absolute price. In addition, CPF supports region-wise and role-based field level access to contracts, which ensures that the right people have access to information.
