High-End Calibration Alliance
Due to the latest changes and relocation of the calibration laboratory of the Fluke Deutschland GmbH - one of europe's high end calibration laboratories - the traceability chain in Germany and Europe has been stressed since the middle of 2010. Finally esz AG, together with the newly founded 1A CAL GmbH, supported the setting up of calibration capabilities for primary and secondary laboratory standards for most calibration laboratories, equipment and its users. The corporate shareholding is driven by a strategical and technical alliance: All future calibrations of esz's electrical primary standards will be performed by 1A CALGmbH, which already has achieved accreditation by the German Accreditation Body DAKKS (Reg. No. D-K-15115-01-00). Chief metrologist and CEO Karl-Peter Lallmann and his staff have already proven their metrological experience: Standards, procedures and laboratory have been installed in Kassel in a few months only. Key competence will be the calibration and repair of electrical test & measurement equipment such as primary standards like AC/DC transferstandards, DC voltage references, standard resistors, calibrators and high resoltution DMM´s. Mr. Lallmann guarantees: "1A CAL's small measurement uncertainties will create large impact to the metrological landscape in europe."esz AG belongs to one of the most renowned enterprises in the calibration range and maintains bases in Germany and Europe. esz AG is established as manufacturer independent, non-party calibrating laboratory and reliable service head office at manufacturers and developers from industry, science and trade. Business activities: A various range of services round the measuring technique for quality assurance and control of measuring and testing equipment.
For over 40 years the letters esz stand for electronic service centre. The headquarters is located west of Munich, established in Eichenau.
