Press release from: Datex Corp.

Datex Corporation today announced it will launch a new version of its application, Datex FootPrint® WMS, which works with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 to offer customers enhanced security, as well as innovative user interface features and reliability improvements.

Datex FootPrint® utilizes state-of-the-art Microsoft .NET technology to provide a unified WMS solution, built from the ground up, rather than updated from older software. Providing the ability to allocate items based on FIFO, FMFO, LEFO, LMFO, and FEFO to effectively manage inventory, FootPrint is able to track inventory by lot, SKU, and UPC. The Datex WMS solution includes a labor and time saving barcode parser capable of handling variable weights and ASN receiving.

“Our ISV community is alive with innovation, and we’re committed to helping our partners drive the next generation of software experiences,” said Ross Brown, Vice President of ISV and Solutions Partners for the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft. “Adding compatibility for the latest Microsoft technologies helps ISVs to stay ahead of the competition and give their customers access to cutting-edge technologies.”

“Making our application compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 helps us offer our customers compelling benefits including more streamlined reporting, advanced business intelligence and overall performance improvements” said Andy Armanious, Director of Software Development.”
