BITSoftware ltd. Romania launch new versions of its ERP solutions

BITSoftware ltd. Romania launched, in late December 2010, new versions for its ERP solutions, SocrateOpen and Socrates +. We know that for a company the only one business that matters is the one in which it activates. We also know from experience that one ERP solution can not cover requirements from all industries. That is why we developed two ERP solutions; each of them specialized for different industries, addressing different sized companies covering a large spectrum of segments.
SocrateOpen is an open source ERP / CRM software (free license), addressed both to Romanian and international companies, ready for the global economy. SocrateOpen 2.4 is the new version of the open source ERP / CRM, developed since 2006 and positioned as a solution "Tier 1", the highest classification level of ERP systems, due to the complex functionalities offered and adaptability to customer needs. Superior flexibility of the system, combined with a reduction in total cost of implementation and use, transforms SocrateOpen 2.4 in the ideal ERP solution for companies activating in services, construction, telecom, distribution, discrete production and agro. With SocrateOpen 2.4, the management of projects is now more efficient, introduction of automated workflows leading to elimination of delays and maximized productivity, ensuring quick access to information. The new version of BITSoftware`s ERP also supports construction firms with new features in terms of fleet management and equipment at the company level.
Socrates+ is an integrated management system, with commercial licensing, which runs on Microsoft (SQL Server database), addressed to companies in FMCG retail, consumer goods distribution, process industry, automotive garages and service offices, and companies specialized in conveying oil, liquid petroleum products and petrochemicals.
The new Socrates+ version 2009.4.0, comes with new features for companies in the retail, distribution, and those who provide maintenance services and maintenance.
For retailers, the new version offers more effectively control of their price and discount policies and to change or adjust their schedule to become profitable in financial terms, under the new analysis reports on store sales by hours or by the number of customers on time scales. Socrate+ 2009.4.0 comes, also, with a completely new functionality - Projects -, allows control of the activity of companies working on the project, aimed at managing projects and tracking profitability on each project, as well as significant improvements in production, on the quality field (laboratories, analytical methods, analysis reports).
