Multi-room audio player devices for DLNA-compliant server
2 AwoX Orchestra play synchronized audio, controlled from an Android tablet
Using the AwoX mediaCTRL for iPhone or Android mobile devices, the audio unit can be controlled to play content in total synchronization from any DLNA-compliant server. With the Android application, users can browse through music available on DLNA-compliant servers and select it to play in any room of the house.
“By offering an affordable audio player product that is compliant with DLNA servers, AwoX makes it easy for all users to get the most out of their multi-room systems,” says Alain Molinié CEO of AwoX. This white-label product will be available from several brands starting in first half of 2011.
The AwoX mediaCTRL application is being demonstrated at CES 2011, at the AwoX booth (#31’835, South Hall 3).
AwoX develops the technologies and the white label products for accessing easily Internet and personal content, wherever free or premium. AwoX customers counts the lead broadband & broadcast operators, the consumer electronics A-brand and the tier-one system integrators. AwoX manufactures affordable full-featured WiFi Internet Radio, Hybrid DTT/IP STB and Connected TV, as well as the underlying technology bricks: connected audio & video modules, and DLNA related middleware ranging from media playback down to content protection. Our innovative off-the-shelf audio and video products are sold by service providers under their own brand. They are relying on our technology available as software development kits to quickly implement networking, encryption and multimedia support on their existing platform.
