Bringrr Named Semi-Finalist in 2011 Last Gadget Standing Awards.

Las Vegas, Dec. 30 - Bringrr Systems LLC is pleased to announce that its Bringrr Charge Bring-Your-Phone Reminder Device has been named one of Top 25 Gadgets in the 2011 Last Gadget Standing Awards at the 2011 CES Show. Hosted by Technologizer and Living in Digital Times, Last Gadget Standing is an annual competition designed to spotlight the hottest of the thousands of new products introduced each year at the CES show.

The just-announced Bringrr Charge differs markedly from traditional phone leash products like the well-known Zomm, Phone Halo or Blue Nio, which are expensive, need frequent charging, and are prone to generating false alarms if phone and keys to which the leash are attached, are separated. Bringrr is as simple-as-can-be, residing in the car’s power port, switching on automatically with the car ignition, and reminding the user if they have their phone, or not. In addition its cost can be half the price of a phone leash—and can charge the user’s phone too.

In the semi-final phase of the contest, several devices were pitted head-to-head and readers were asked to vote for their favorites and the one they found most appealing. The Bringrr Charge was put up against the Sony Ericsson LiveView remote display in The Battle of the Bluetooth Gizmos. The Bringrr gizmo won the match by more than a two-to-one margin.
