The Center for the Advancement of Paranormal Research is searching for the answers to the unexplained. After the launch of a brand new website and many organizational changes CAPR is better then ever.

CAPR is not a group or a club in the sense that you see most of the time now. They are serious researchers that are dedicated to the scientific study of paranormal occurrences and activity. They have found, through personal experience, that a large "team" tends to distract from the ultimate goal of "finding the truth" and leads to a more social type gathering instead of actual research. While there are larger teams out there that do great work, there are far too many that take advantage of people in need of help and understanding just in hopes of getting a scare or thrill.

The thing that sets CAPR out from others is the fact that they do not need a scare or thrill. They have been investigating for many years and have had their share of excitement. They know what to look for to rationally explain many claims and can also determine when there is no rational explanation. When they go into an investigation, it is not as skeptics or believers. They strictly follow the scientific method to reach a conclusion on a case to case basis.

A strict code of ethics is another thing that sets CAPR out. They will never claim to have all the answers, nor will we ever promise to be able to solve all your problems. While they have extensive experience in this field, there are absolutely no experts in this field. While paranormal investigation has come a long way, the field is far from having all the answers. The equipment used is experimental at best and new discoveries and advances are continuously being made. Each new investigation is continuing education.

One of the services that CAPR provides are residential investigations. Many people experience activity that they cannot understand. They may feel as though they have no where to turn. CAPR offers help, hope, understanding and friendship to those who are being victimized by occurrences that they cannot explain or understand.

CAPR is located in Valdosta, Georgia and investigate primarily in the South Georgia, North Florida area, although they will travel farther if the need is great enough.
