Compressed Air-Operated Air Knife Increases Production
AUBURN, CA – Air Knife Systems use standard shop compressed air for commercial/industrial applications which include removing excess liquids, oils, cooling, drying and dust blow off.The Air Knife is both efficient and effective. A curtain of air spans across the entire length of the Air Knife to provide a laminar (uniform) sheet of air that will cover the entire surface of the product.
Air Knife systems are available in stainless steel, aluminum and PVDF for environments that are corrosive. Sizes start at just 3” right up to 96” inches in length.
STREAMTEK California manufactures two types of Air Knife. Regular Air Knife and Advanced Air Knife. The Advanced Air Knife provides best performance with 40:1 air amplification ratio, low operating noise levels, and highest efficiency. The Regular Air Knife provides decent performance with a 30:1 amplification ratio, slightly higher noise levels, and consumes moderately more compressed air.
