TULSA, Oklahoma—December 9, 2010—Specific Systems, the leading manufacturer of industrial and severe duty HVAC equipment, received third-party certification to the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard. Intertek, an ANAB accredited registrar that is a leading provider of testing and quality audits for several industries, assessed Specific Systems against the requirements for consistent quality assurance.

For Specific Systems, the ISO 9001:2008 certification is a significant step in maintaining a leadership position in the industry. “We are proud to have achieved this certification,” says President Mike Bolick. “The certification encompasses the hard work by our employees in constantly improving both ourselves and our products, as well as providing our customers with the products and service they need.” Specific Systems began the hard work of achieving the certification early this year.
