X-Mas Sweeper for iPhone and iPad including Game Center Support: Challenge your friends in a jolly way!

Apps2Go introduces their third game: X-Mas Sweeper is the Christmas Version of Apps2Go's Minesweeper Tournament. It relies on iOS 4.2's technical innovations and comes with complete Game Center Support, an In-Game Voice Chat, various 2-Player-Modes and gives you the opportunity to play in your local network.

Don't step on the precious baubles! X-Mas Sweeper expands the usual Minesweeper-gaming-experience by including powerful special abilities and a 2-Player-Mode that allows you to be part of exciting duells. Clear parts of your board by wizardry, freeze your opponents using the power of ice and unfreeze yourself with warming candlelight. Minesweeper on a whole new level at christmas!
In-Game voice chat, 2-player mode and special abilities ensure exciting duels on the quest for baubles. Distract your opponents by singing Christmas songs while you're jollily finishing your board.

During the holidays it's fair enough to grant yourself a break from searching mines all the time. But who spread all these baubles on the floor? You certainly don't want to break them! Keep all of them unscathed to assure yourself a place on the leaderboards or go for some unique achievements!

This App works for both iPad and iPhone as well as for iPod touch. X-Mas Sweeper adopts the properties of different devices concerning screen-resolution and design automatically. Even the high-resolution Retina-Display of iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G is supported.

The X-Mas Sweeper gameplay is based on Minesweeper, which is a true classic. The Board consists of numerous covered fields which contain a limited amount of baubles underneath them. The player reveals one field at a time and hopes not to step on a bauble. The numbers on cleared fields provide information about neighboring baubles. By combining these information, the player is able to locate every bauble accurately. The player who is first to clear the board without breaking any baubles wins.

X-Mas Sweeper: Welcome to the Santa Claus Challenge

X-Mas Sweeper provides different „Playgrounds“ with fragile surprises. „Christmas Elf“ (Easy) is a board with 8 x 8 fields and 10 randomly spreaded baubles. „Snowman“ (Medium) consists of 16 x 16 fields and 40 baubles. It gets even harder on „Santa Claus“ (Hard) himself! Here you have to locate 99 baubles which are hidden underneath the 16 x 30 field board.

If you don't want to take part in these snowy default challenges you can start getting into the game by practicing in the „Freeplay“-Mode. „Freeplay“ is a 1-Player-Mode in which you can customize the board to best suit your skills. Here you can vary the field-count and the amount of baubles.
