Announcing Browser Games of the Year 2010 Website Launch

GameCorp launches "World-Class Browser Games", a gaming portal dedicated exclusively to browser-based games enthusiasts. The focus of the Website is on awarding the top browser games of 2010. As this year is coming to an end, it is important to acknowledge and inform the public on the games that excelled on this year's browser gaming scene.
At GameCorp, an international jury of journalists, professional and independent developers, as well as players, will choose the best browser games of the year. The participants will compete over five categories for jury voting (game design, presentation, game play, humor and story) and other five for audience voting (the categories under which developers register their games: action, role-playing, strategy, casual and social).
"The Browser Game of the Year is a contest just like the "Oscars" but for browser games. Developers can register their games, get a little piece of code to put up on their Web site, and then their games can start receiving votes. Players will decide, based on their own personal favorites, who will be the winners this year." said Marian Dumitrescu, CEO of GameCorp.
The focus of the site is on the presentation of Web browser games (the nominees) and the international acknowledgment and recognition of the top participants (the winners) for the passing year. In addition, related news are provided constantly and the audience can start voting right after the voting codes are up and running on developers Web sites.
According to GameCorp, hundreds of games are likely to qualify in the race for the most important award for browser games. The competition is not limited to only a handful of participants; everyone is invited to join in this captivating annual tradition.
