Utopia Home Care Says A Home Health Aide Lessens The Burden of a Family When Caring for A Loved One During the Holidays

Press release from: Utopia Home Care

/ PR Agency: PRMG
The holidays can be a difficult time for the elderly or the disabled and their families. Utopia Home Care suggests that family members should look to home health aides as a way to ensure that their loved ones are properly taken care of and to ease the burdens associated with caring for loved ones.

“The home health aides at Utopia Home Care provide excellent care for those who need help, yet wish to stay at home, as opposed to staying at a facility,” says Diane Martinez, Executive Vice President, Utopia Home Care. “Our aides are fully trained and qualified to provide proper care for their patients.”

With the disabled and the growing number of elderly people in today’s society, more family members are turning to home healthcare agencies to have them care for their loved ones. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of home health aides is expected to increase by almost 50% by the year 2018. Home health aides work nights, weekends and holidays, with live-in care as an option.

It can be a very upsetting time for responsible family members if they themselves cannot provide adequate care for their loved ones. Home health care is an affordable option for many families needing assisted living to take care of their loved ones. There are various ways to pay for home health care, including private pay, insurance and those who qualify through Medicaid and Medicare.

Ms. Martinez says, “Having a home health aide can really help improve their loved one’s physical, mental and social well-being and lessen the burden on the family members who are already feeling the stress from the holiday season.”
