New Social Network Launches with a Bang

It is almost impossible to go anywhere or talk to anyone these days who is not involved in a social network of some sort, however until now it has been almost impossible to use these networks to connect specifically with people who closely share your interests.

The web has recently erupted with a wave of UK internet users flocking to a new highly anticipated Social Network. Bloggers are saying that the service (which is called bongal) has filled potentially the last and biggest void in the social networking arena. Following the release of The Social Network movie in theatres across the globe, stories of new potential players are sure to turn heads.

The co-founder of the site Rory Marshall says “the difference between bongal and all the other networks out there is that we have designed the site after realising a need for a place to go to discuss and connect with others that share all your interests and hobbies. I know of no other online community site that offers what we have termed an interests network”. When asked about the future of bongal, Marshall added “being a new site we are able to quickly react to user requests and fix any glitches as the site gathers momentum during the initial stages”.

The site had been developed by Marshall and his agency Rippleffect. It has now been live for a few months and is already approaching 20k members.
Marshall summed up by saying “I strongly feel that bongal has the potential to be huge as it is firmly planting its feet in an untapped niche by connecting users based on their interests and locations rather than just their existing friendship circles.”

A new social network prominent in the UK but a worldwide user-base. Designed to connect its users based on interests rather than existing friendship circles.
