INNOVATION ALLIANCE creates new industry

Berlin, 25.11.2010. Leading companies in the innovation industry have joined forces in Berlin to establish the INNOVATION ALLIANCE. The objective of this new network is to interconnect customers and offer them targeted, comprehensive support for all innovation-related questions in an increasingly dynamic business sector.

The INNOVATION ALLIANCE sees itself as a formative school of progressive thinkers, which can sustainably improve innovation services by applying skilled methods and processes, and offering a wide variety of perspectives. The core component here is a shared dynamic way of thinking and working, referred to by the founding members as “agile innovation” and which should meet the following challenges:
1. Growing speed of change
2. Increased complexity
3. Integration of heterogeneous skills and disciplines
4. Targeted knowledge transfer worldwide

The INNOVATION ALLIANCE provides complementary services and solutions that enable innovations to be developed more effectively and efficiently. It forges new connections, supplies stimulation and thereby enables new forms of added value to be created. The main aim is to initiate responsible growth through innovation. This can be achieved by the increased agility of innovation management, the targeted knowledge transfer of concrete practical examples and the formation of a think tank for “next practices”.

“The eight founding members are KEY VALUES GmbH, noocleus ag, Pattern Recognition, Shakers & Makers, STURM und DRANG GmbH, TrendONE GmbH, UMS GMBH and UNITY AG“, said Sven Tollmien, Director of Business Development at TrendONE. “They make up the council and will decide in unison on the inclusion of any further members.”

What’s more, the INNOVATION ALLIANCE plans to put the theme of responsibility into practice by way of a “Social Innovation Project”: Every year a team of experts will instigate to work on one social project and develop a free innovative solution to a problem, the results of which will then be published.
