Plug Kinect in a PC and now interact with Windows 7 applications through gestures
Multiple users gesturing up to several metres from a screen connected to the Kinect sensor device can simultaneously control multiple multi-touch and multi-gesture applications running under Windows 7, including those using Flash and Java.
Evoluce is the first to have created a working bridge between Kinect and Windows 7 taking advantage of depth-sensing data from Kinect to enable multi-user, multi-gesture control of Windows 7 applications.
Software developers tapping into the bridge will soon be able to program multi-user, multi-gesture applications that will change the way we interact with the PC and consumer electronics in everyday life. Evoluce will release software soon.
The direct and intuitive interface created opens the door to a myriad of possibilities for interacting with a variety of multi-touch applications in gaming, consumer electronics, office, events, education, command and control, point of sale, and medical systems.
The Evoluce solution is based on the latest Evoluce Multitouch Input Management (MIM) driver offering all standard interfaces for multi-gesture software development, including Windows 7, Java, XML, Flash, and TUIO.
