Mayor Castro and State Rep. Castro Visit Expanded Care Management Services Facility
San Antonio, November 16, 2010. Carenet Healthcare Services, a care management services organization for the healthcare industry, unveiled its newly expanded campus that will meet the needs of its aggressive jobs expansion program, during a ceremony with Mayor Julian Castro and State Representative Joaquín Castro.The expanded business campus signals the company's arrival as one of the nation's premier care management services companies, and is designed to house up to 100 new skilled healthcare positions created by its jobs expansion efforts in the next year. The company currently employs 216 people.
Located on I-10 and Woodstone, the expanded business campus increased the company's footprint from 18,000 sq. ft to over 30,000 sq. ft. The development includes new contact center and executive space.
"Our team is excited about the recent jobs expansion at our San Antonio campus," said Carenet President John Erwin. "The demand for quality health care and the need for stronger customer relationships has grown tremendously, and Carenet is at the epicenter of this movement, offering clients strategic care management services in an efficient, effective, and measurable manner."
Founded in 1988, Carenet serves over 10 million members from its URAC-accredited contact center in San Antonio, Texas, and has built the most experienced medical care and management team in the industry. The company has experienced tremendous growth - revenue has grown 803% since 2006 to over $14.7 million.
