Dr. Tiffany Huggins, a T.A. Blakelock alumna, graduated from the esteemed Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2010 after following the path of both her father, Dr. Brian Huggins (Class of 1980) and her late grandfather, Dr. Ernest Huggins (the inaugural class of 1949).
Before CMCC, she attended the University of Western Ontario where she completed a baccalaureate in English Literature and Theatre, becoming involved in musical and performance theatre; she became fascinated with movement and body mechanics. After obtaining her Bachelor of Education from Althouse (UWO) she moved to London, England where she instructed senior level dramatic arts and found her passion for working with people to help maximize their potential. After a year of teaching, she decided to further explore the world of biomechanics and anatomy, and complete her doctorate in a field where she could still thrive from working with community members to minimize pain and optimize their health and wellness.
“As a licensed chiropractor, my focus is on rehabilitating the neuromusculoskeletal system, which in short is the combination of nerves, muscles, joints, and bones. I use a variety of techniques to help repair, restore range of movement, function, and general health to the areas of concern identified via diagnostic examination, radiography, muscle testing, and in turn diagnose and treat the patient’s ailment. My chiropractic practice employs evidence based medicine, which aims to utilize the most recent and researched evidence based on scientific methods to aid in clinical approach and decision making.” Dr. Tiffany Huggins; HBA, B.Ed, D.C.
Dr. Huggins is now accepting patients and looks forward to growing her practice here in her hometown of Oakville.
