NLP Fitness Coaching the latest way to get fit for Christmas!

My name is Daniel Ebanks and I am Suffolk’s first and only Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Fitness Coach. NLP Fitness Coaching is the use of NLP techniques to allow somebody to reach their goal. This can be done in person or over the phone and can compliment or replace Personal Training usually on a weekly basis. On your first visit to an NLP Fitness Coach you will sit down and talk. After this first conversation with your coach they will decide what NLP techniques they are going to use. The reason for this being that we all have ‘good’ programmes and ‘bad’ programmes which we have developed through our socialisation. The NLP techniques help get rid of the ‘bad’ programmes and replace them with good ones. The advantage of this is that NLP helps promote long term and permanent change in behaviour.
So in plain English using NLP techniques help you lose weight, tone up, change shape, become active or whatever goal you have.
An NLP fitness coach is somebody who is trained as a Personal Trainer so they have all the knowledge and skills to structure training programs, carry out nutritional analysis, and carry out fitness tests. Where an NLP Fitness Coach differs is that they also have the extra edge of being able to change people’s mindsets, and get rid of ‘bad programmes’ and replace them with good ones.
On your first visit to a Personal Trainer you might expect to be measured and weighed with an NLP coach you talk. The conversation serves the same purpose as the measuring and weighing, the coach will find out where you are and where you want to be. There are hundreds of different techniques that can be used and the coach could use any combination of these techniques.
The results obtained from NLP coaching in my experience are the same as I achieved when I used to work as a Personal Trainer. In the next few years I see this new way of keeping fit as common place as Personal Training.
