HPI, LLC receives the FastTech 50 award 2 years in a row

Houston, Texas – 11 November 2010 – HPI, LLC, a leader in the supply of turbine control solutions and turnkey power plants, is proud to announce their receipt of the FastTech 50 award for the second year in a row. The FastTech 50 awards are presented annually by the Houston Business Journal to high-tech companies that experienced the greatest percentage of revenue growth in the prior year (2009). An awards luncheon, held on 5 November, recognized the FastTech50 Top Executives.

HPI, founded by Hal Pontez, started as a supplier of turbo-machinery controls and has since become a leader in designing and building turn-key power generation plants in just eight years. Over 50% of HPI’s business today is international, representing another marked change since the company’s launch in 2002. HPI has a project track record that spans the marine, power, and oil & gas industries. This dramatic growth and evolution of the com¬pany’s business reflects effective leadership and a focused business strategy that has differentiated HPI. More recently, HPI has been involved in several marine projects for the U.S Navy and assisted with the Gulf Coast oil spill.
