Bizmatics Announces CCHIT 2011 Full Certification for EMR

San Jose, CA - November 11, 2010 - PrognoCIS EMR v2.0 has been named a fully CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR. PrognoCIS EMR, a product of healthcare software and services company Bizmatics, Inc. has been tested and passed inspection of 100 percent of CCHIT’s 2011 criteria. Approved on October 22, 2010, PrognoCIS v2.0 has also received a prestigious five-star usability rating from CCHIT. The CCHIT Certified® program is an independently developed certification that includes a rigorous inspection of an EHR’s integrated functionality, interoperability and security using criteria developed by CCHIT’s broadly representative, expert work groups.

“We are very excited about getting full CCHIT 2011 certification. We believe this confirms our position as one of the top-tier EMR vendors in the market. Our comprehensive EMR feature set along with highest usability rating - as tested by CCHIT - will help clinics in quick and easy adoption,” says Vinay Deshpande, CEO of Bizmatics, Inc.

Recent government stimulus incentives have been implemented for medical practices to adopt EMR technology. In order for medical practices to receive reimbursement, practices must demonstrate full adoption of the EMR, as per the “meaningful use” guidelines defined by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. PrognoCIS, v2.0 has successfully attained ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 EHR MODULAR certification, under certification ID CC-1112-697871-1 and certified under the following quality measures: NQF 0421, NQF 0013, NQF 0028, NQF 0041, NQF 0024, NQF 0038, NQF 0059, NQF 0064 and NQF 0575. “With our modular ONC-ATCB certification, clinics can start using PrognoCIS to support the meaningful use measures covered by certified criteria.”, adds Vinay Deshpande.

Operating from the heart of Silicon Valley, PrognoCIS has been developed using the latest innovations and leading Internet technology. PrognoCIS EMR and other products have been deployed for hundreds of customers across the United States including Alaska, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. PrognoCIS is also available as a bundled Electronic Medical Record / Practice Management solution.
