New Friendly & Fun Ski Transfer Business Launches in Three

There will be a new mini-bus hopping around Courchevel and the Three Valleys ski area this winter. TheSkiBug is a small and friendly transfer service and local private taxi service being launched for the start of the 2010 and 2011 ski season, based in Bozel in the Courchevel valley.

TheSkiBug is the new business venture of Rachel Gawith and Peter Turner, who met last ski season in Courchevel after Rachel moved to the area from Bulgaria and Peter decided to work a ski season as a ski chalet manager. Previously Rachel had worked in property sales and development in Bulgaria and Peter had been a guitarist in various bands across Brittany, in northern France.

TheSkiBug offers a friendly and personal airport transfer service in the Three Valleys ski area (Courchevel, Bride Les Bains, Bozel, La Tania, Meribel, Val Thorens) and for the Paradiski Area (Bourg St Maurice, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Peisey ski areas).

It is a small French registered company with just one modern, clean mini bus seating 9 people (driver plus 8 guests) and provide airport transfers from Geneva, Chambery, Lyon and Grenoble airports to the ski resorts in the Three Valleys area. TheSkiBug aim to ensure that your journey from the airport to your ski holiday accommodation is as comfortable and hassle free as possible. Refreshments are provided for the journey free of charge and TheSkiBug aim to keep their charges as economical as possible, whether you are a single traveller, a couple or a party of 8.

They will also be offering a local taxi service for the Courchevel area so that visitors to the area can go and see live bands playing, take part in the ‘apres-ski’ or enjoy a meal out without having to worry about one of the party having to drive home or find a taxi at the end of the evening. TheSkiBug website will feature the regular evening entertainment such as live bands playing in the resort, music festivals and theme nights at various restaurants.

For those owning ski apartments and chalets in the Courchevel and Meribel areas (and Champagny en Vanoise and Pralognan-la-vanoise) TheSkiBug offer a chalet and apartment cleaning service, general management and key holding service and also offer a rental section on the website where you can promote your ski apartments and ski chalets for rent and promote special offers and discounts to our visitors.

TheSkiBug offer very competitive rates for cleaning, doing laundry, regular property checking and can also look after your keys for you and ensure you or your guests have fresh bread, tea, coffee, milk and other essentials for when they arrive.
