EFX Stays A”Breast” Of Cancer Awareness During October
Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelets
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (October, 2010) – In continuing its mission of advocating for the wellness of everyone, EFX Performance pledged to donate 20 percent of sales generated by its pink Breast Cancer Awareness sport wristbands to national cancer research organizations.
EFX raised more than $20,000 for cancer research through the sale of these bands and stepped up its efforts throughout the month of October.
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to help raise funds for such a good cause,” said Jim Ruschman, president of EFX Performance. “We’ve all been affected directly or indirectly by breast cancer and we consider it an honor to be able use our success to generate awareness.”
In addition, EFX Performance recently participated in the 3 Dog Walk for breast cancer in which participants walked a mini marathon through Del Mar in San Diego with their dogs in tow. EFX also proudly sponsored The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure held in San Diego and the 26.2 With Donna National Marathon in Jacksonville, Florida.
