Europe Is Heating Up The American Charts

What Falco once achieved with “Rock me Amadeus”, the Austrian solar panel and biomass boiler manufacturer SOLARFOCUS managed to achieve 24 years later: The boiler therminator II is on top of the US-American hit list, with quality made in Austria.

It is again a T(h)erminator that is having success in the United States. Since 2009 the technology of the company SOLARFOCUS has been distributed under the brand name Woodmaster Flexfuel in the US. The expectations were very high back then. But they could be exceeded, because it is the first time that a well-engineered European boiler is on top of the US boiler ranking, and this only 1 and a half years after its market launch.

Clean Boilers, Protected Environment
Burn Wise, a program of the EPA (United States Environment Protection Agency), is charged with protecting human health and the environment. The program is about the importance of burning the right wood, the right way, in the right wood-burning appliance to protect your home, health, and the air we breathe. Using wood as fuel had been a taboo for a long time. Burn Wise wants to make people aware of the fact that wood is – if used in the right way - a clean and highly efficient fuel.

Ranking
Boilers that are on the Burn Wise list are eligible for grants and therefore sell better on the US market than others. Boiler manufacturers all over the world have been trying to get listed, and SOLARFOCUS managed this as the first Austrian company! Not only is SOLARFOCUS listed, but they hold the top three positions. On top is the therminator II logwood boiler (30 kW) which impresses with lowest average emissions per year and an efficiency of 95.6 and 99 % respectively. The therminator II pellet boiler (30 kW) occupies the second place, and therminator II logwood boiler with 60 kW is on third position. But that is not enough. To complete this stunning result, the most powerful therminator II, the pellet boiler (60 kW), is in the fifth position. Consequently the European technology is sensationally listed four times in the first five positions in a list of 22 boilers. Up to now no other European boiler manufacturer ever achieved such a result.

One Boiler, three Fuels
