How useful is the Biomass energy for avoiding pollution

11-04-2010 09:32 AM CET | Energy & Environment

Press release from: Evergreen Engineering

These days not many people know about the advantages of biomass energy. Hardly few people who have good knowledge and reads and research a lot knows about biomass energy. We live in a world which is full of pollution, pollution from industries, from fuel burning, throwing waste garbage, burning of other chemicals and fossil fuels to produce energy. We must strongly think and take severe action to use biomass energy so that we can control the level of pollution created by us which affects the ozone layer of the planet and in return we are facing the problem of global warming. Global warming has become a serious issue for humans as the rate of heat is increasing every year and the melting of the glaciers is also becoming a problem.
For humans to survive better we need to control the pollution level we make, because if at this rate we will damage the ozone layer in a decade or so which consequently result in more hot summers and more fast melting of glaciers, more harmful radiations will reach earth and effect in different ways. All this burning of harmful chemicals and fossil fuels are responsible for damaging the ozone layer.

For people who do not know what biomass is, biomass is derived from natural source such as plants, trees, wood, pieces of woods and dead plants and roots, animals and humans waste, garbage that we throw, grass and anything made naturally you can think of can be utilized as a biomass energy. Biomass energy is derived from complete natural source and is not harmful to humans and earth in any way.

Biomass energy is also renewable energy because it is made from plants and dead animals and trees, plants will continue to grow till the end of times so there is no worry to extract plants for energy purposes. One major important thing about biomass energy is that it does not emit harmful fumes and smoke. When it burns it emits Co2, but this Co2 is different from the Co2 of other fossil fuel burning. The plants absorb the Co2 from atmosphere for its growth and when the biomass is burnt it releases the Co2 in the atmosphere. The fossil fuels not only emit Co2 but also other harmful chemicals such as sulphur dioxide and lead oxide during their burning.

Biomass energy can also be produced from the organic waste or garbage that we throw. The garbage is kept at one place and when it rots it emits harmful gas such as methane. We can utilize this garbage and make it in to biomass energy. By this energy we can even produce electricity and other fuels. This form of energy is not harmful in any way to humans and to the earth’s atmosphere and ozone layer.

Biomass energy is categorized as global protection energy form, and slowly and gradually more research and attempt to switch on this energy are being made.

These days not many people know about the advantages of biomass energy. Hardly few people who have good knowledge and reads and research a lot knows about biomass energy.

What are the advantages of using biomass resources?
We are living in such a time today that our ozone layer has been damaged seriously. The rise in global warming and pollution is making the world a dangerous place. The effect on ozone layer has increased the global conditions such as the gradual melting of the glaciers is a serious issue. These glaciers are melting at a fast speed and we seriously need to think how to cut down
What are the advantages of biomass electricity?
Today we live in the world which is rapidly changing and moving fast. The speed at which we are affecting our ozone layer is very fast, as we can imagine how the weather conditions use to be 20 years back and now how the weather is changing. The glaciers are also melting at a fast rate and this is now creating many problems for the people. We must act fast
