New Certified Drug Test Administrator & OSHA Training Courses for the Construction Industry
Orlando, Florida 11/2/2010 - The National Association of Drug Free Workplaces (NADFW) is now offering CDTA and OSHA training for the construction industry at their office location in Orlando, Florida. The OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) training is the primary method used to train workers on hazard recognition and OSHA safety standards. OSHA training is necessary for a safe and healthy work environment and it can be a requirement for certain construction work and contracts.
The NADFW Certified Drug Test Administrator (CDTA) is a special program developed exclusively for NADFW Members. The CDTA Course is a 3 hour block of instruction that leads to NADFW Certification as a Drug Test Administrator, which allows the certified individual to conduct and administer drug testing for both ilegal substances and alcohol. General industry consensus has determined the need for a program providing collection personnel with the training to become proficient in urine and alternative (hair, oral fluids, sweat, on-site) specimen collection for drug testing in the workplace. The Certified Drug Test Administrator training program will aim to ensure that the collection is performed in a professional and consistent manner, maintaining confidentiality for the donor and security, integrity, and control of the specimen.
NADFW offers many training courses in addition to CDTA & OSHA for the construction, manufacturing and other industries. They are a national leader in providing drug free workplaces with high quality drug testing services and training.
Registration is now open for the CDTA training being held November 13, 2010 and for NADFW's 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA training courses being held in December 2010 and January 2011. Workers, Laborers, Supervisors and Superintendents are encouraged to register by visiting ww.NADFW.com or calling NADFW at 407-878-5800.
