TriDoc Easy document management was large-scale tested with over 10 million registered documents at IBM Innovation Center in Budapest.

The performance test measured the response times of the TriDoc standard system (without any modifications made on the system itself - using the in-built MySQL 5.1.42 Database server) in predefined test cases. The main goal of the test was to demonstrate that the standard version of TriDoc, originally designed for small and medium sized businesses, is capable of handling huge amount of registered documents.

The test database contained 10 000 273 document data sheets, each of them having one version data sheet with a sample document (430 KB) attached. The whole database had a size of nearly 4,2 TB's.

The server used for the test was an IBM 3850 M2 enterprise server with Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X7350 @ 2.93 Ghz 2.93 Ghz (4 processors),16 GB RAM and RAID 5 - 5,56 TB. (The operating system was a 64 bit Windows server 2008)

Each of these cases included functions important for the every day use of a document management system.

Some of the test results:
Document search by Registration Number Max: 453ms
Document search by TriDoc barcode Max: 125ms
Document listing by Responsible Max: 2050ms
New document registration with 1 sample scanned letter Max: 6250ms
Document data sheet opening from Document list Max: 1630ms
