FDM Academy Scam Killer Guide Advises on Fees

FDM Group is one of the United Kingdom's largest IT graduate employers, and is responsible for launching the careers of information technology enthusiasts worldwide.
Recently the FDM Academy, the educational branch of the FDM Group released an article to aid in the fight against the unethical business practices of some information technology training providers throughout the United Kingdom.
Many training providers are accepting tuition and fees in return for education in the IT or information technology field which are not accredited programmes, and have little or no impact on one's career. These graduates have been unable to find employment with their current education, rendering their training nearly useless. On August 13, 2010 the FDM Academy launched an article on their website's blog which offered advice as to how to determine whether a training institute is legitimate or fraudulent.
The FDM Academy notes that one way a person can determine the legitimacy of a training institute is by asking the company about their past success stories. For instance, several of FDM's trainees have progressed to become Global Heads within FDM Group. FDM was ranked 15th within the top fifty information technology training companies in the United Kingdom, and was recently featured above Sun Microsystems.
If an information technology training company is not ranked within the top fifty training companies within the United Kingdom and they have few or no graduate success stories, then it is very likely that they are not a reputable company. In order to avoid scams, it is advisable to speak with multiple training institutes and ask the same questions to gather and compare information. Once the information is obtained one can objectively look at the options available and make an educated decision.
